Learning is evolving and students are no longer just listeners, they’re creators. CBSE’s new podcast -"Shiksha Vani," initiative is a game-changer, giving young voices a platform to share ideas, experiences, and perspectives.
Here’s my take on why parents and students should tune in:
-
Students as Creators: They’re stepping into the spotlight, expressing themselves, and taking pride in their ideas.
-
Beyond Textbooks: Hearing peers’ experiences makes learning real, relatable, and fun.
-
Future-Ready Skills: Skills like storytelling, critical thinking, and personal branding are being nurtured from a young age.
-
Collaborative Growth: Parents can listen, talk, and guide, helping children connect academics with real-life learning.
How Students Can Get Involved?
Schools across India have been encouraged to nominate students from Classes IX to XII who are confident, articulate, and interested in contributing to podcasts and social media content. The process involves submitting a nomination through the school, including a write-up on the student's interest and a confirmation of parental consent. Selected students will undergo online training before recording content, which will be published on CBSE's digital platforms.
CBSE podcasts aren’t just audio lessons, it’s empowerment in action. They are a platform for growth, creativity, and self-expression. Encourage your child to speak up. Confidence, creativity, and communication are the new superpowers.
